ALBERTA BOHO WEDDING-CHECK OUT THIS STUNNING WEDDING FEATURE USING LUXE B PAMPAS GRASS!

A little bit about Jackie and Dallas's whimsical boho wedding day! 

We were fortunate to meet the lovely Jackie through our Luxe B team member Alex. Alex and Jackie worked in medical aesthetics together. Jackie is a thriving business lady in the Edmonton community. She owns and operates a medical aesthetics boutique called The Alchemy Room. You can find her on Instagram as @rn_nursejackie.


When we first met Jackie last year, we were so happy to help her style some of our Luxe B Pampas Grass in her gorgeous business space. After finding out she was getting married this year, we were also delighted to help her add some boho wedding vibes to her special day!

Jackie decided to pick some true stand out pampas pieces by adding some of our tall pampas called UVA stalk. This 7 foot blush coloured pampas was a true show stopper and really added a stunning dimension to the archway and altar. She also included our Luxe B Promo Pack. This pack included a variety of 4 foot pampas and is the perfect colouring for a wedding.

Dallas and Jackie first met in high school. He was dating someone at the time and so was Jackie. They happily reconnected 20 years later.

Jackie used some of our faux pampas in pink to line the wedding aisle! We loved the pop of pink added a long the aisle. Jackie and Dallas held a sacred fire ceremony surrounded by their children, close friends and family. It was a magical day, filled with so much love for the couple.

The little details that Jackie added to the special day were perfect! Here Jackie incorporated some of our smaller dried grasses called rabbit tails and some of our favourite wedding dried florals called starflower blossoms in white.

With 2022 Wedding Season now on the horizon and people starting to plan for the next year,  I asked Jackie what are her tips on getting married:
She said:

"Don't stress, just put the intention and the vibe into what you want. A wedding is about creating memories. At the end of the day, we wanted to create a vibe for our loved ones and we wanted to enjoy sharing the love."
Jackie's big tip was to:

"Spend money on the videographer and the photographer. She said they capture all the little moments. During the wedding day, you get so busy and are not able to be present for all the little moments. Whether it be people getting ready or people chatting prior to the ceremony. "

 I have to agree with Jackie, it's so important to have someone capture all the important moments. The day goes by so fast and it's such a wonderful feeling to look back on all the cherished memories.
